Well, as you all might know, PSN has been down for quite some time now. There's been a lot of raging and a lot of debates regarding this whole mishap, like people wanting compensation for not being able to play their games online or check their mail and what not.
I just heard yesterday that Sony is going to compensate us PSN users, so worry not my fellow LaGers. They stated that for all PSN users, we would be able to download 2 games of 5 from the Playstation Store for free. They haven't said what these games would be, but lets just cross our fingers and let them decide it can be any 2 games. For the Playstation Plus users, they will not be billed this month for using the Playstation Plus, and of course they can download the games too.
I also heard something about the PSP users being able to download like 2 games, but I'm not too sure if it's correct, so don't get your hopes up guys. I'm not too sure myself.
Lets just hope Sony gives us awesome games do download and that they get PSN up soon.
Baka
that's good news
ReplyDeletelol they'd better give you -something- for it after being down so much and losing your information :P
ReplyDeleteI think I'll go play CoD on my 360 right now =DDD haha
ReplyDeleteHey man, sucks for PS3 users, i'm an xbox fanboy myself. Oh well, GOOD LUCK! Return the favour plox.
ReplyDeleteThis is still going on?
ReplyDeleteRumor has it though that after your free month of PSN, in order to keep your "free" games you have to keep paying for the account.
ReplyDeletewell hopefully they do something
ReplyDeletethey have to do something
ReplyDeletei hear that man, its taking forever
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that they are going to give something back, but maybe, it's not enough.
ReplyDeletePLEASE!
ReplyDeleteAccording to the PSN website, all users will get 30 days of Playstation Plus for free and each region will get 2 free games although they will vary by region.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how that will work since I have both UK and US account on my PS3...
Hopefully they include PSP users in this too as I don't have a PS3.
ReplyDeletesony really handled this horribly, i'm looking forward to following the story.
ReplyDeleteWow is this really still down? I assumed they just got it fixed real quick. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeletelet's just hope this is true
ReplyDeleteDon't take the games, sue Sony :)
ReplyDeleteAt least they're compensating for the trouble.
ReplyDeleteNew follower! The PSN debacle is a huge embarrassment for Sony, besides the ginormous monetary blow. I think the free games/no charge for the downtime is the best way to handle it, along with a honest apology. I remember way back in the day when a problem with a certain game caused memory cards on the PS2 to be wiped, & they offered free games as compensation, no questions asked.
ReplyDeletethanks for the info
ReplyDeleteok... ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope the PSP users get something useful. Not that I would deserve anything. I haven't touched the PSN in years.
ReplyDeletegotta see
ReplyDeleteHopefully its up soon!
ReplyDeleteScore! I know what games I am getting! haha. Just hope PSN does not go down again soon.
