And so i'm back and... Well... No luck.. The outcome I expected I got. I told them and they went ballistic. Well, not really. They told me that the market for what I want to take isn't big and that medicine has a bigger market. I told them I did the research and know what's what, but my dad left the room and my mom just said 'i don't know what to tell you'. Basically meaning that they don't approve.
Sigh. I'm not surprised, but I still had a small hope. I don't know now. My mom said she didn't know, which is an open ended answer. She could still help me out by supporting or not supporting at all. I get that she's worried about my future and stuff, but yeah. I'll just try applying.
Thank you guys for supporting me and wishing me luck. I'll try my best to get in and i'll keep you posted.

I can see why your parents are concerned but I am in medical school now and I couldn't handle being here if I didn't 200% know it was what I wanted to do.

ReplyDeleteThe bring future isn't with doing the regular stuff, but doing anything the best way possible. Gardener for the Vienna opera must be shitting him self with cash, but he is still a gardener. And as they are worried about you future, mention the factor of fulfillment and happiness as well
